What is Stessa’s eSignature tool?

This tool allows document owners to easily create, capture, and authenticate electronic signatures. Stessa users experience the convenience of securely signing essential documents online, eliminating the need for printing, scanning, and mailing. Simply upload your document, indicate where signatures need to occur, and enjoy the freedom for anyone to sign anytime, anywhere, from any device.

Why would I use it?

It simplifies the signing process by eliminating the hassle of physical signatures, saving time and effort for both landlords and tenants.

  • All parties can complete and sign documents from anywhere, on any device. No downloading or scanning is required.

  • In addition to signatures, customize each document with text fields and add as many signers as necessary.

  • Track the status of each document in one view and get real-time email notifications at signing and completion.

What types of documents can I sign?

There are no limitations on the types of documents you may sign with this tool—leases, addendums, agreements, contracts, etc. If you have a document relevant to your property that needs a legally binding signature, you can leverage this tool.

How much does it cost?

At the moment this tool is solely available to Stessa Pro members. Members are entitled to 5 uses per month. This allotment of 5 uses will refresh each month and do not roll over month-to-month. If you are not a Stessa Pro member, please check out this information page to learn more.

How many signatures can the tool facilitate?

As many as you need! A single document can be signed by any number of signers.

How do I use it?

Follow these simple steps to take advantage of Stessa’s document signing tool.

  1. Drag & drop your leases, addendum, agreements, etc. to create a single document for signature.

  1. Tag your document to indicate where each signer needs to sign, initial, date, or write in an answer to complete the document.

  1. Sign first or send off your document so that other parties can sign it first.

  1. Once all parties have completed their assigned signatures or tasks, you will receive a completed version of the document.

  1. You will be able to access a completed version of the document within your Stessa profile anytime in the future.
