Closing Your Stessa Account

If you’ve decided to stop using Stessa, you can request to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Important: Deletion is Permanent

Before submitting a deletion request, please keep the following in mind:

  • Account deletion is irreversible.

  • All data will be permanently removed, including:

  • Portfolios

  • Properties

  • Transactions

  • Bank connections and external lin

  • If you have a Cash Management account, ensure the balance is zero before deletion as deletions cannot be processed otherwise.ks

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered—even if you change your mind later.

Important Note on Cash Management

If you have a Cash Management account, you need to ensure that the balance in your account is zero. Stessa cannot process account deletions unless all balances are cleared. Alternatively, you can request to delete the Cash Management account only if you prefer.

Future Account Creation

Even though deleting your account removes all current data, you will be able to create a new account using the same email address in the future if needed.

How to Request Account Deletion

To close your account:

  1. Send an email to support@stessa.com or submit a request through the Stessa support system.

  2. Ensure to use the email address linked to your Stessa account for authentication purposes.

  3. Include the following statement in your request: "I would like to submit a request to delete my Stessa account. I understand that once completed, I will no longer be able to log into Stessa with my credentials."

Once we receive your request, our team will reply to confirm your request before deleting the account and associated data. You will also receive a confirmation email once your account and all associated data have been permanently deleted.
