Can You Track Land Without a Street Address?

Yes! Stessa allows you to track real estate assets like:

  • Raw land

  • Vacant lots

  • Farmland

  • Parcels with no postal address

Note: Some features like Zestimates, property tax assessments, and photos may not be available for these types of properties.

How to Add a Vacant Lot or Raw Land in Stessa

Follow these steps to set up a placeholder property that you can customize:

Add a Dummy Property

  • Go to your Portfolio

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper right

  • Select "Add another property"

Use a Placeholder Address

Search for and select this temporary address: 123 Data Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA

This is just a template and we will replace the details.

Proceed Through Setup

  • Click Continue when the address is found

  • Fill out as much information as you can in the guided setup flow

Complete Initial Setup

Once setup is complete, you'll be redirected to the Alerts & Insights page.

Finalize the Setup (Manual Update)

To finalize and fully configure your land property:

  1. Reach out to our Customer Support Team through the messenger or support@stessa.com

  2. Include the following in your message:

    • Full address, if available

    • Zillow link, if applicable

    • Preferred display name for the property in your Stessa account

Allow up to 2 business days for your property to be fully updated by our team.

Tips for Tracking Land

  • Use custom labels and notes to clarify lot boundaries or usage

  • Add documents like plats, surveys, or purchase agreements

  • Assign the property to a Portfolio that matches your ownership structure
