Getting Started with Dashboards

Stessa dashboards are automatically set up to compute essential metrics based on:

  • Current month transactions

  • Property valuations

  • Account balances

You’ll find these dashboards intuitive and easy to use, allowing you to quickly assess key performance indicators for your portfolio.

Understanding The "Portfolio" Dashboard

The Portfolio Dashboard, also known as the All Properties Dashboard, consolidates data from all properties in your portfolio and calculates essential investment metrics.

Key Metrics:

  • Net Cash Flow: A detailed breakdown of your income and expenses for the current month, including any uncategorized transactions.

  • Net Worth: The total sum of market values, outstanding loan balances, and available cash—representing the net worth of your entire real estate portfolio.

  • Cash on Cash Return: This measures investment performance, considering cash flow, actual cash investment, debt, and capital expenses. Learn more about cash on cash return.

Understanding The "Property" Dashboard

The Property Dashboard focuses on data for individual properties, offering a more granular look at each investment.
