How do I upgrade my Stessa subscription?

Log in to your Stessa account on the web and upgrade directly from your Settings page under the “Subscriptions” tab. Upgrading via the mobile app is not currently supported, although certain Manage and Pro features will be available to you via the mobile app once the account has been subscribed.

How much does an upgrade cost?

The Pro plan, offered at $28/month when paid annually, includes everything in the Manage plan plus unlimited portfolios, advanced reports including Schedule of Real Estate Owned (SREO), unlimited smart receipt scans, higher APY, priority phone support, and more.

The Manage plan, offered at $12/month when paid annually, offers eSigning by DocuSign, 60+ legal forms and templates, automated Schedule E report, and more.

How do I pay for the subscription?

You can pay using a major credit card or with funds in your Stessa Cash Management account. The options for payment are available on the Settings page under the subscription tab.

Subscribed customers on both the annual and monthly plans are renewed automatically before expiration unless you cancel your subscription in advance.

How do I cancel or downgrade my subscription?

You can cancel or downgrade the subscription on the Settings page under the Subscriptions tab.

Can I get a refund?

Cancellations are effective as of the next scheduled renewal date. For annual subscribers that may be quite some time in the future so please plan accordingly as we do not prorate or issue refunds for unused periods. For monthly subscribers who cancel, your subscription will be valid until the end of the month and will not renew the following month.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to pro features up until the expiration date of your subscription. After expiration, your account will revert back to the free Essentials tier, at which point you will no longer have access to pro features.

Although features will now be limited, all underlying data will not be affected, such as custom portfolios. If you choose to renew your subscription at a later date, previous pro configurations will be reinstated upon renewal.

How can I change the credit card or account that is used for payment?

If you would like to change the payment method for future payments, go to the Subscription tab on the Settings page, select Modify Payment Details, and select your preferred payment method to process future payments.

Can I transfer my subscription to another Stessa user?

No, each subscription is tied to a specific customer account on Stessa and is not transferable.

Can I buy a subscription for a collaborator?

If you have a subscription, any collaborators you invite to a portfolio you own will have access to features for the portfolio. However, they will need to purchase their own subscription to unlock features for any portfolio they own.

What are the advantages of a subscription plan versus the Essentials plan?
