Getting Started with Your Debit Card

How do I request a debit card?

  • Visit the Cash Management page in your Stessa account.

  • Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the desired account.

  • Select “Issue Physical Debit Card.”

Do I need a separate debit card for each account?

No, but you're welcome to issue a debit card for each account if you want to.

Can I have multiple debit cards for the same account?

Not at this time. Each account supports only one active debit card.

Can I set a nickname for my debit card?

Cards are automatically named based on the associated account.


Virtual Debit Cards

What is a virtual debit card?

  • A virtual debit card works like a physical card but exists only online.

  • It is automatically activated and does not require a PIN.

How do I use a virtual card with mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)?

You can manually enter your virtual card details into your phone’s wallet app to enable tap-to-pay features.


PIN Setup & Card Activation

How do I activate my debit card?

  • Activate it on the Cash Management page or

  • Call the number printed on the back of your physical card.

  • Virtual cards are automatically activated.

How do I set or change my PIN?

  • Set your PIN during activation or call the number on the back of your card.


Using Your Debit Card

Where can I use my Stessa debit card?

Anywhere Visa (or Mastercard) is accepted.

Can I use my card at an ATM?

Yes, but ATM fees may apply depending on the machine and owner.

Are there any fees for using the card?

  • No Stessa fees. In fact, you earn 1.10% cash back on eligible purchases.

  • Cash back is credited to your account monthly.

What is the debit card limit?

The daily debit card authorization limit is $5,000.


Lost Card, Disputes & Support

How do I report a lost or stolen debit card?

Call 1-833-333-0417 immediately.

How do I report suspected fraud?

Also call 1-833-333-0417.

How do I dispute a transaction?

Contact support by calling the number on the back of your card.

How do I cancel or close a debit card?

Open a support chat by clicking the blue circle on the lower right of the Cash Management page.
